PX Sherry and Chipotle BBQ

This is our take on a proper, complex BBQ sauce — built around Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry, the legendary sweet sherry used to season barrels for some of the world’s finest whiskies. PX brings a deep, rich flavour loaded with dried fruit, caramel and dark berry sweetness.

To balance that richness, we’ve blended in smoky chipotle peppers, giving the sauce a warm, earthy heat that sits perfectly with the sherry’s natural fruitiness. Finally, a squeeze of orange juice cuts through with a bright, citrusy acidity that keeps everything lively and layered — especially alongside the bigger, richer flavours of Christmas dinner.

The result? A sauce that’s bold, sweet, smoky, fruity and complex — perfect for glazing ribs, brushing over wings, drizzling over roasted meats, or bringing something completely new to your festive plate.
